We are going to use allot of the same principals that you learned in the article "Writing Better Subject Lines" for your Email Marketing. The power words that helped to get your email opened will also create an urge, a uncontrollable, strong desire to act upon your Email Marketing Ad. You want to get the reader to go to your site. This is not the time to sell them on spending their hard earned money. You must concentrate on getting them to do one thing - They must go to your site to learn more. When they get to your site you have more of their attention. All of those other emails aren't sitting there begging for their turn to be looked at. When they get to your site, they have made the commitment to look at what you have to offer. So right now, the only thing you need to do is get them to your site. That is exactly what we are going to create today. We are going to create a Email Marketing Ad that leads them to realize that, the only obvious thing to do is, go take a look. Write this need, from our list, down on a piece of paper. Out beside it list the sub-categories that also goes with your product or service. Here is a example: Let's say I have a Dating Site. The basic need that would be fulfilled with this is Social. Sub-categories - All of them - love, affection, companionship and acceptance Alright, we have a starting place. We know that our Email Marketing Ad has to create a motivation to act upon the "Social" need. The desires that must be fulfilled in order to satisfy this need are love, affection, companionship and the desire for acceptance. CREATING THE URGE TO ACT NOW Now our challenge is to get the reader to see, in his minds eye, that our dating service will fulfill these desires. I can't promise that it will, I don't claim to have even a small fraction of the knowledge to know what everyone needs in a mate. First thing I need to do is just start writing, listing all of the things my dating service can do. Starting in broad terms and then putting in more details. If you have a service that gives you Email Marketing Ads to use, you're a step ahead. You have the basic ideas, but you don't want to use the same Email Marketing Ads that 1000 other people are using.
I have to create a broad enough picture that can pertain to the largest amount of people and still create a desire strong enough to make that reader click my link.
